About Tarot Sanctuary
Hi, I’m Anna. I’ve been reading tarot cards for most of my adult life—first for myself, then for friends around my kitchen table, and eventually for the many people who found their way to it through them. Tarot Sanctuary is the place where I’ve gathered everything those years have taught me, written down the way I would tell it to you over a cup of tea.
How I Read the Cards
I work with the classic Rider–Waite deck, the one most of us picture when we think of tarot. In all my years with these seventy-eight cards, I’ve come to see them less as fortune-tellers and more as mirrors: each one reflects a piece of what you already carry inside. A reading, for me, is a quiet conversation—the card names what is happening, and you decide what to do with it.
That is why you won’t find doom or fear on these pages. Even the heavier cards—Death, The Tower, the Ten of Swords—have something kind to say when you sit with them long enough. My job is to translate their language gently and honestly, without sugar-coating and without threats.
How This Site Is Made
Every page here is written by hand, card by card. Each of the 78 cards gets a full chapter: its upright and reversed meaning, what it says about love and relationships, career and money, how to read it as a card of the day, the symbolism hidden in its image, and whether it leans toward yes or no. The two reading tools—the daily card and the one-card reading—draw from the same well: meanings I’ve refined over years of real readings.
There are no accounts to create and nothing to pay. The readings happen right in your browser, and the card you draw for the day stays quietly on your own device until midnight.
What Tarot Is Here—and What It Isn’t
I believe tarot works best as an inspiration for self-reflection: a way to pause, name what you feel, and see your situation from a new angle. It is not a substitute for professional advice—on questions of health, money, law, or the heart’s deeper struggles, please also turn to the people trained to help. The cards can walk beside you, but the steps are always yours.
If you’d like to write to me—about a card, a reading, or simply how something here landed for you—you’ll find the address on the contact page. I read every message.
May you find something here that speaks to you.
